90% less energy house are designed by optimizing the building envelope, using a highly
efficient micro-mechanical system, and incorporating strategic lighting and day
lighting, it reflects a low energy consume. To build it must count equipped
elements like shape, building envelope, window placement, and shading responds
to energy modeling. Created by Parsons the New School for Design and Stevens Institute of
Technology (parsit.parsons.edu) , has two porch, a public north porch and a
private south porch. It also has special equipment, a light loft and a flex
space for increasing comfortable. Compared to a typical home in Washington,
Empowerhouse just consume up to 90% less energy for heating and cooling with
